Well, let's try again this year...
I know it. You know it. Everyone knows it. 2020 was a sh*itshow! And, 2021 is underway in fits and starts. BUT, we are riding this year! People still live with HIV/AIDS and its consequences- and that's been compounded by COVID and its fallout. Did you know a record number of nonprofits closed their doors last year, and more are expected to close this year?!
And, when they close their services and impact are lost. Peoples' lives hang in the balance, and support is most needed in these vulnerable times. I ride for Positive Impact Health Centers because they are frontline. They provide medical services, housing, and mental health services to those in greatest need.
Half your donation goes to support those services, and half goes to Emory Vaccine Center to find that elusive cure. HIV is a pesky, complicated virus, and we're just a breakthrough away from making it history.
The ride this is is a remote event- common routes but no group rides. Over two months we'll ride 200 miles. Except, I'm going to ride 500 because I can and I'm committed. Can I rely on you to donate?! Thanks!
