Couch Potatoes Unite!

I have committed to ride a portion... NOTE: A PORTION of the 20th AV200 ride for just the sheer comedic value of Two Ton Tubby getting on a bike, in public, in spandex should be enough to donate. Actually, the funds I am raising go to the Emory AIDS Vaccine Center and AID Atlanta. The cool thing is that Action Cycling donates the funds raised to Team AID Atlanta for AIDS Walk, and every dollar is matched!
I love this ride. Some folks are power cyclists and they whip through the miles, and go on. I think most people set a goal, and try to meet it. The great thing is that if they ride 1 foot or 1 00 miles it all counts! This is a fun ride and not about the MEGAMAXI challenge. I will ride in the fun run on May 21 for somewhere between Zero and 20 miles.
Please click on the link below and give today. If you give here, you DON'T have to give for my AIDS Walk effort. However, I will still ask, with me hoping you would forget.
ANYWAY, We are making progress! The number of Americans diagnosed with HIV each year is trending down (we need to redue by 92%). The rate we are going is not fast enough.
I am certain that if ANYONE will find a vaccine--it will be Emory! I know the great work my agency does every day, through baby steps and small wins. While I kind of want to ask for pledges per feet or yards that I cycle...I sincerely ask you to search your heart, your wallet, and then please give today. The ride is May 21st!
Mahalo for your kokua!
