Amanda's Fundraising Page - 2019 AIDS Vaccine 200!
Thank you for joining me in this cause! This is my 3rd year riding in the AIDS Vaccine 200 – 200 miles of cycling in 2 days. I started out as a volunteer in 2014, little did I realize the impact it would have on my life. In May 2016 - at the 14th ride, I was inspired by the personal stories of our riders - these dedicated athletes who have lost friends and family to AIDS, and some who are now HIV positive. I was inspired by their dedication to find a vaccine to prevent the spread of this disease, to end the stigma, and fight to live a long, healthy life.
Their drive, passion, and dedication inspired me to regain my health and fitness. Please join in the fight to end this disease. I will be riding for my friends, my fellow riders, those who are fighting their way back to health after a diagnosis, the 1.2 million in the US infected, and the 36.9 million infected globally.
Please support my ride to raise money and awareness of HIV/AIDS. The fight is not over – we need a vaccine. 100% of your donation will go to the Emory Vaccine Center. Please help me reach my fundraising goal – even a small donation will make a large impact.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
