Welcome to my AV200 Page
More than 1.1 million people in the United States are living with HIV infection, and almost 1 in 6 (15.8%) are unaware of their infectionMore than 1.1 million people in the United States are living with HIV infection, and almost 1 in 6 (15.8%) are unaware of their infection.
The Emory University Vaccine Center searches for a vaccine to prevent HIV/AIDS, and the AV200 Bike Ride helps to fund this goal. On May 16 and 17, 2020 I have accepted the challenge to ride as part of a team from Atlanta to Eatonton and back to help raise awareness and donations!
Over the past 17 years, the AV200 Bike Ride, sponsored by Action Cycling Atlanta, has raised almost $3.2M for the Emory Vaccine Center and other Atlanta-area AIDS organizations. Action Cycling Atlanta is a 100% volunteer organization; the ride is funded by corporate sponsorship and individual fundraisers. What this means is that 100% of all donations provided to the riders go to the beneficiaries!!!
I would be honored to receive your donation to support my ride in this year's AV200 Bike Ride.
