Donation Page For Michael Weaver - Providing Hope for a Life Worth Living
I am riding in my 12th AV200 in 6 days and need your help to not only find a vaccine to end this pandemic we know as AIDS but to help those living with the disease in our own community who do not have access to healthcare.
It is hard to believe but not everyone has access to the lifesaving medication and others are afraid to seek help for fear of being stigmatized for having the disease. I watched many friends lose the battle against this disease and there is no reason why anyone else should have to live in fear of dying when we have the medications to treat HIV/AIDS and prevent new infections.
Will you support me? Your donation supports research at Emory University for a vaccine and treatment for those living with HIV. Positive Impact Health Centers provides comprehensive HIV specialty care through medical services, mental health counseling, addiction treatment, support programs, and through prevention and testing services. Treating and caring for individuals who are affected by HIV impacts their lives, changes the course of HIV for the entire community and helps stop the transmission of the virus.
100% of your donation is split between Emory and Positive Impact Health Services. All expenses for the ride are paid for by our loyal sponsors.
Thank you for your support.....Michael!
